A tragic accident occurred on the night of June 2 in Meka, Roing, Arunachal Pradesh, resulting in the death of Jeevan Lakra, a 30-year-old resident of Dambuk in the Lower Dibang Valley district.
The incident happened between 9 pm and 10 pm while Lakra’s vehicle was traveling from Dambuk to Roing. Around 9:20 pm, the car collided with a tractor and caught fire, trapping Lakra inside.
Local sources reported that the deceased was closely associated with Puiniyor, the newly elected BJP MLA from the Dambuk assembly constituency. The tragic loss has deeply affected the community.
