Two men, Zakir and Rabbi, were injured in Agra on Saturday, December 21, after a truck hit their bike and dragged them and their vehicle for nearly 500 meters. The incident occurred around 11 pm when the duo was traveling from Waterworks to Rambagh. Instead of stopping after the collision, the truck driver accelerated, trapping the men beneath the vehicle.
Local residents intervened at Waterworks, forcing the driver to stop. A video captured the horrific moments, showing the men screaming and begging for the truck to halt. Zakir recounted, “We were hit by the truck as it suddenly sped up, dragging us for nearly 500 meters. Locals managed to stop the vehicle and rescued us.”
Agra Police arrived at the scene, admitted the injured men to the hospital, and arrested the driver. Agra ACP confirmed that the victims are in stable condition and the truck has been seized.
