Jabari “Baba Skeng” Johnson, the 25-year-old son of Jamaican reggae artist Jah Mason, was shot and killed during a TikTok livestream on **April 28**. The attack occurred outside Queenie’s Snack Shop on Red Hills Road in St. Andrew, near Kingston.
According to reports, a masked gunman wearing a black hoodie approached Jabari from behind and shot him in the head. The attacker continued firing as Jabari fell to the ground.
The tragic incident happened just days after Jah Mason celebrated his mother’s birthday on April 20.
Police in St. Andrew North are investigating the murder but have not yet made any arrests. Authorities have not released further details about a possible motive.
