Car crashes into a woman with her kid at high speed

At approximately 10:08 on April 4, 2024, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Chaoyi Street and Yongle Road in the Xihu District of Nanchang City. A car collided with a pedestrian and an electric bicycle, resulting in four people being hospitalized for treatment. According to the hospital’s diagnosis, one person sustained serious injuries (not life-threatening at the moment), one person suffered minor injuries, one person was hospitalized for observation, and one person was unharmed and went home on his own.

Currently, the driver, Nie (male, 46 years old), has been detained by the police. Following an investigation, suspicions of drunk driving and drug driving have been dismissed. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
