The punishment ought to fit the crime. If the thief stole for profit, say money, then this is a fitting punishment, but if the thief stole food because he was hungry then this punishment does not fit the crime.
It´s barbaric and I gues they know how the mob justice system in their shithole works but they still steal

The thief should be made to compensate with money or work for what he did. It’s just material ffs. This way, he will never work again, so could have just as well euthanize him.
As a kid my arm got covered in flaming melting plastic… the pain is incredible, stays hot for ages and hardens and cannot peel off. That was just in a few seconds…. It’s HORRIFIC!!!
I got a drop of a melting shirt and it was bad *_*
