A security camera at a stable in Paiján, in the department of La Libertad, captured the death of a worker who fell into a feed shredding machine. The victim and his colleagues were unloading corn plants from a truck when the accident occurred.
Suddenly, the worker’s arm got caught, and then his entire body was pulled into the livestock feed cutter.
The victim’s arm became trapped in the machine.
The video shows Juan De Las Rosas Torre unloading corn with two other people directly into the machine.
When the tragedy struck, his coworkers ran desperately to turn off the machine, but it was too late, and his death was immediate.
His remains are being mourned at his home in Paiján, in the province of Ascope. The family stated that the stable owners covered the funeral expenses for the man, who left behind eight children.
