can also be a detonator from hand greande. we had same situation. Monkey was playing with greande, literally, rolling detonator in and out the grenade, and accidentally pulled the pin off… fingers bent in opposite direction, and partially flew away, the guy was lucky that only fingers vent off. And here it looks like parts from detonator got the guy. Also, that one looks like he was kind of military… strange behavior.
