In a tragic incident in Hyderabad, a 23-year-old student lost his life after falling from the third floor of a hotel while playfully chasing a dog. Uday Kumar, a polytechnic student, was attending a friend’s birthday celebration at the VV Pride Hotel in Chandanagar on Sunday evening.
According to CCTV footage, Kumar was seen following a dog along the hotel corridor. As the corridor ended, the dog turned right, and Kumar attempted to follow. However, he lost his footing and accidentally fell through an open window.
Police reported that Kumar died instantly from the fall. His body was sent to Gandhi Hospital for an autopsy, and a case has been registered by the Chandanagar police.
