On March 16 2024, a car near Shuangyuan Road in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, was reported to have hit multiple pedestrians while driving, before finally crashing into a roadside tree. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. According to local authorities, some of the injured were taken to Rongjun Hospital for treatment. The incident occurred around 4 to 5 p.m. on the 16th, as reported by personnel from the local police station. Jiaxing Traffic Police Brigade stated that they are currently handling the case.
