For those who never experinced or trained for this…. A dog attack is exactly like a knife attack. You ARE going to het cut and bleed. Your goal is to minimize the dmg and wait for the opportunity to attack. Dogs go for your ankles/calfs initially. If they get a grip you need to suck it up get the dog in a headlock and snap its neck. Strong nose strikes serious meaningful eye gouges can buy you time. You cannot bitch tho. This is why i am so thankful when i was attaches to forward observers we got to train against dog attacks and then again when i was attached to an MP unit in Falluja. Dogs are easy as fuck to beat 1 on 1. Its like a knife fight you are gonna get hurt. Accept that than either crush the canines rib Cage or break its neck.
