In a tragic incident in Vietnam’s Tien Giang province, a woman was killed in a boarding house during a conflict over money. The murder took place on May 10 in Go Cong Tay district.
The victim, identified as Tan Phuc, approximately 42 years old, owned the boarding house. The suspect was a tenant in room number 7 who owed her money, leading to a heated argument.
According to security camera footage, around 8:20 a.m., the suspect entered the house while Tan Phuc was cooking. He used a knife to slit her throat and fled the scene. The victim attempted to seek help but collapsed and died in the living room. The suspect later returned to his room and committed suicide. Previous disputes and threats between the victim and suspect had been reported, all related to the unpaid debt.
