In Canoga Park, Los Angeles, authorities reported that in the early hours of Saturday, October 7th, 2023, police shot and killed an armed man.
Around 1 a.m., LAPD officers responded to reports of an armed individual in a vehicle within the parking lot of a CVS pharmacy located on the 21000 block of Sherman Way, as stated by a representative of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The man was armed with a handgun, and after failing to comply with the officers’ instructions, the police fired at the suspect, resulting in his death. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene. The identity of the deceased individual has not been disclosed at this time.
