Brazillian female COD mobile player murdered by a fellow player

A 19-year-old Call of Duty Mobile player was murdered Monday afternoon in São Paulo, Brazil.

The woman, who goes in-game by Ingrid “Sol” Oliveira Bueno da Silva, was murdered by a fellow COD Mobile player Guilherme “Flashlight” Alves Costa. According to the report, Flashlight planned Sol’s murder in a notebook, then stabbed her in his own home. After the murder, he proceeded to share a video and pictures of the murder with an organization called Gamers Elite.

According to the investigation, Flashlight fled the scene of his home after he committed the murder, but he was convinced to return and turn himself in at the behest of his brother. In a video released by Viva ABC, Flashlight is arrested by police and is asked if he remembered what he did. He answers that he did, and that his sanity is “completely fit.” He also stated that he committed the crime “because he wanted to,” and was reportedly laughing while being taken away.
