Wanning, Hainan – On the evening of 7th February 2022, Propaganda Department of the Wanning Municipal Committee of Hainan Province issued a briefing regarding a local boat leakage accident that occurred, resulting in the death of two people.
At 15:10 in the same day, Xu Mouwen and Lin Moumei rented a boat from Chen Moubing. The boat then carried 13 tourist to Wuchang dock.
At 15:30, the leakage occured while they are on their way. Lin Moumei then contacted the owner, Chin Moubing, which is in another boat, for a rescue.
The rescue team in Wanning was informed and immediately launched an emergency response, rushing to the scene.
All 15 people were carried to the shore. 2 (adults) were dead, and 1 (child) is being treated at the Wanning Hospital and showing a stable vital sign.

2月7日晚，海南省万宁市委宣传部发布情况通报称，当日下午，当地发生一起船艇漏水事故，造成2人死亡。
经初步了解，当天15时10分许，许某文和林某美租用陈某兵的船艇，搭载13名游客从万宁乌场码头出海游玩，在行驶中，于15时30分许发生船体漏水，上面15人全部落水。林某美随即联系船主陈某兵驾驶乌场码头其他船只前往救助。万宁相关部门获悉事故发生后立即启动应急响应，第一时间赶赴现场开展救援。
经施救，落水的15人全部被救上岸，其中2人经抢救无效死亡，1人正在万宁市人民医院进行抢救，生命体征平稳。
目前，许某文、林某美、陈某兵等相关责任人已经被警方控制。相关部门正在开展善后安抚工作。事故正在进一步调查中。
