The video from the crowded morgue, which fell into the hands of Novosibirsk social activist Rostislav Antonov, was filmed in another city. The video footage shows the dead lying in the corridor and even on the floor. It was assumed that this was filmed in one of the medical institutions of our city, but later it turned out that this was not the case.
— This video was shot not in the Novosibirsk region, – noted in the Ministry of Health of the Novosibirsk region. – The pathology department of the city hospital is engaged in post-mortem diagnostics of the deceased in all departments, not only in the infectious diseases hospital. The department is equipped with modern cold storage chambers, which allow storing the bodies of the deceased until they are handed over to relatives or a funeral service. Outside the refrigerator, the bodies are kept for a short time, in preparation for a pathoanatomical examination or just before being handed over to relatives.
We will remind, earlier the Minister of Health of the region Konstantin Khalzov noted that the head physician of the medical institution will deal with the problems of the morgue in the city hospital .
